Boat Master III
This course provides training for persons to be in command of open vessels in protected and coastal waters and is in accordance with the requirements in Annex 11 of the Small commercial Vessels (SCV) Code.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Completed Basic Training

Numeracy and Literacy Skills
CERTIFICATE / AWARD
On Successful completion of the training course candidates will be issued a Certificate of Completion which is a prerequisite for taking the certifying examination at MSD
Boat Master II
This course is in accordance with the requirements in Annex 11 of the Small Commercial Vessels (SCV) Code and provides training for persons to be in command of:

a vessel of less than 24 m in Protected waters

a passenger vessel of less than 12 m in Coastal Waters
-
a vessel of less than 24 m other than a passenger vessel in Coastal Waters
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Not less than 20 years of age

Certificate of Medical Fitness

Completed Basic Training

At least twelve (12) months sea service

Completed the training for BM III, or licensed as a BM III or Launch Captain

CERTIFICATE / AWARD
Boat Master I
This course is in accordance with the requirements given in Annes 11 of Small Commercial Vessel (SCV) Code.
The BM I, training course aims to provide training for persons in command of a passenger vessel up to 24 m operating in coastal waters or any vessel other than a passenger vessel of less than 24 m operating in exposed waters.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Completed the training for BM II, or licensed as a BM II
